Sophie Boyne is a 14-year-old Scottish singer, pianist and songwriter from Nairn, whose powerful vocals, piano playing and natural stage presence have quickly made her one of the Highlands’ most exciting young performers.

Sophie began playing piano at the age of five and has since developed into a confident performer, winning numerous local competitions and appearing at festivals including Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival. In 2026, she reached the final of Channel 4’s The Piano, where her emotive performances captured the attention of audiences across the country.

Alongside her piano playing, Sophie writes and performs her own music, bringing together heartfelt songwriting, powerful vocals and a dynamic live style. She joins us in Dornoch with her band for what promises to be a very special evening.
